We value the trust you place in our platform. As a marketplace for emerging designers and institutions, most items are custom, made-to-order, or IP-licensed. Our policy balances buyer satisfaction with fair protection for designers.

1. Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

Return Window: Within 7 days of delivery for ready-to-ship items only.
Non-Returnable:
- Made-to-order, couture, or customized items.
- IP-licensed digital assets / NFTs.
- Crowdfunded or limited-edition campaign items.
- Jewelry, intimate apparel, and accessories (for hygiene reasons).
Defective/Damaged Products: Eligible for replacement or credit note if reported within 48 hours of delivery with photos/videos.

2. Conditions for Return

Item must be unused, unwashed, and unworn, with all original tags, authenticity cards, and digital certificates intact.
Packaging (cloth bag, box, certificates) must be returned in original condition.
Returns without proper proof of purchase or tampered tags will be rejected.

3. Refunds

Mode of Refund:
- Prepaid orders → Refund to original payment method.
- COD orders → Refund via store credit (valid for 12 months).
Processing Time: 7–14 working days after quality check at designer’s end.
Partial Refunds: Shipping charges, customs duties, and payment gateway fees are non-refundable.

4. Exchanges

Size/color exchange subject to availability with the same designer.
If unavailable, customer may opt for:
- Credit note (valid for 12 months), OR
- Refund (where applicable).

5. Cancellation Policy

Before Dispatch: Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of purchase.
After Dispatch: Cancellation not permitted.
Made-to-Order/IP Licensed Products: Once production/licensing has begun, cancellation is not allowed.

6. International Orders

Returns accepted only in cases of defect or damage.
Buyer bears international shipping and customs costs for returns.
Duties & taxes paid at destination are non-refundable.

7. Dispute Resolution

In case of disagreements, Fashionkaam.in acts as an arbitrator between customer and designer.
Verified claims may result in designer penalties, ensuring fairness to buyers.

8. Sustainability & Digital Assurance

Buyers are encouraged to opt for exchange/credit notes instead of refunds to reduce carbon footprint.
All returns involving IP-licensed products will include digital certificate verification & blockchain reversal before refund.
